In Fortune Brands Innovation, Inc. The Sr Manager Global Supplier Quality will be responsible for leading and managing the entire Supplier Quality organization across the United States and Mexico. This role ensures the development, implementation, and maintenance of robust supplier quality systems, supports strategic sourcing initiatives, and fosters continuous improvement in supplier performance. The manager will oversee regional teams, drive compliance with global quality standards, and play a critical role in supplier qualification, risk mitigation, and product quality assurance throughout the supply base.
This position may be based in our Mexico locations in Matamoros, Tamaulipas; Nogales, Sonora or Monterrey, Nuevo León. Candidates should be open to be relocated to any on those locations.

Job Description
- Lead the Supplier Quality teams in the US and Mexico to ensure alignment with global quality standards and corporate objectives.
- Develop, implement, and sustain a comprehensive supplier quality management system.
- Drive supplier quality performance through data-driven KPIs, such as PPM, SCAR closure rate, audit compliance scores, and delivery conformance; analyze trends and variation using advanced analytics.
- Manage supplier audits, including planning, execution, and follow-up on corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Engineering, and Manufacturing to support new product development and launches.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier-related non-conformances and customer complaints. Manage Supplier Corrective and Preventive Actions (CACP). Investigate and determine root cause and monitor the action taken.
- Provide coaching, training, and development for supplier quality engineers and staff.
- Coordinate cross-regional initiatives to harmonize quality practices and share best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects involving the supply base.
- Manage supplier development and improvement plans, including supplier capabilities development.
- Identify supplier training needs, develop and execute relevant training as necessary.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supplier quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Experiences of leading international teams is an advance.
- Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Experience in managing cross-border teams and working with global supplier networks.
- Proficient in English and Spanish (oral and written).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.
Skill Sets and Expertise
- Leadership and team management in a multicultural environment.
- Expertise in supplier development and auditing.
- Six-Sigma Greenbelt or Blackbelt
- Proficient in root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong understanding of APQP, PPAP, and control plan development.
- Data-driven decision-making and KPI management.
- Experience with quality management systems (QMS).
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of international compliance and regulatory standards
