Descripción
Requirements:
Location: Queretaro
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Knowledge: Personnel management, payroll processing, ISN, ISR, IMSS, and
INFONAVIT, Federal Labor Law, and applicable regulations.
Experience: + 3 years in a similar position, managing HC over 1,500 employees, performing accounting functions related to payroll and taxes, payroll processes, direct customer service
to personnel, KPIs management, and private and government audits.
Language required: Advanced English.
Availability to travel: Yes (30% per month)
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the department in collaboration with the Vice President of Human Resources.
- Ensure that the payroll system complies with company requirements, processes, and deliverables to guarantee the timely payment of salaries and benefits to employees.
- Ensure that payroll deductions, taxes, and withholdings are applied according to applicable laws to avoid discrepancies with government institutions.
- Advise and follow up with the payroll team to ensure departmental processes are carried out correctly.
- Collaborate with the payroll team and the Vice President of human resources to implement systems that optimize the management of processes.
IMSS and Infonavit:
- Coordinate the application of Infonavit credits and installments in accordance with the law to avoid penalties.
- Follow up to ensure that employer and employee contributions are paid in accordance with applicable legal provisions to avoid penalties from IMSS and Infonavit.
- Follow up and resolve any differences determined by IMSS and Infonavit to comply with the requirements of both institutions.
- Carry out the IMSS audit annually with the designated firm and ensure it is submitted promptly to comply with the Social Security Law provisions.
- Submit the results of various audits and reports on the area to the Vice President of Human Resources annually.
- Keep the Vice President of Human Resources informed of any potential risks or IMSS reviews for decision-making purposes.
Finance:
- Monitor compliance with the agreements and requirements defined by the Finance department for the monthly and annual accounting close. This ensures that all payroll expenses are recorded in the accounts.
- Follow up on observations issued by the Finance department regarding the information provided in the accounting closings to ensure that payroll expenses are balanced on a monthly basis.
- Keep the Vice President of Human Resources informed of any significant differences arising in the accounting system relating to payroll and social security records for analysis and decision-making purposes.
Taxes:
- Follow up to ensure that taxes withheld from employees' pay are applied, in order to comply with legal requirements in this area.
- Ensure that each entity's payroll tax is determined and paid promptly to avoid penalties.
- Keep up to date with tax changes implemented by the authorities.
- Share any tax updates with the Vice President of Human Resources so that they can make informed decisions.
