Our Procurement department is looking for a Procurement Specialist:

We Require:

5 years' experience buying commodities, Direct material, for a manufacturer metal mechanic company.

Experience managing new projects, developing new suppliers and managing negotiation process.

+6 years' experience in the automotive industry.

ERP, Windows cloud and Excel.

Not necessarily but Desirable Technical skill: MRP, Core tools, APQP, GD&T, Manufacturing blueprint.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate, acquisition and management of raw materials and goods required for production.
• Manage direct materials, indirect materials and services – e.g. outsourced production processes.
• Selection, development and management of local suppliers in Mexico as well as cooperate with the global procurement team to secure deliveries from global suppliers (China, Germany, USA, among others).
• Strong focus on supplier portfolio to support growth.
• Ensure time delivery, quality and costs to meet company requirements (perform costs analysis and budget planning).

Hybrid position, HomeOffice.

Reports directly to the global manager.

Company located near the PIQ.
