About the Role

We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Investment Operations Analyst to support the operational and accounting processes related to investment activities. This role combines hands-on experience in financial operations with strong skills in balance sheet reconciliation, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of investment positions and transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile daily investment transactions, including trades, settlements, and corporate actions.
• Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations related to investment accounts, ensuring all balances are accurate and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Support the general ledger close process by preparing journal entries and reconciliation schedules related to investment activity.
• Monitor cash and securities positions across multiple custodians and internal accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams (finance, accounting, treasury) to ensure data integrity and transparency of investment reporting.
• Assist in compiling reports for internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulators.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency through automation or workflow enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in investment operations, financial reporting, or a similar role.
• Solid understanding of balance sheet accounts, accounting principles, and financial controls.
• Familiarity with investment instruments (e.g., equities, bonds, derivatives, mutual funds) and settlement processes.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with financial systems, reconciliations tools, or ERPs is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a banking, asset management, or investment operations environment.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to investment reporting.
• Advanced English skills is a MUST.
