ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Comply with production program (starting the orders according to the dispatch start date)
• Report/communicate everything related with stopping production (i.e. material shortages).
• Prepare action plans to recover production in case of falling behind.
• Assign tasks, give direct instructions per employee and per workstation.
• Create work methods.
• Prevent and report unsafe actions or conditions.
• Supervise adequate use of equipment.
• Provide safety equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in area.
• Provide adequate tools.
• Attend quality meetings.
• Maintain the quality manual updated.
• Recognize the importance of safety in workplace following the Safety Commitment

Qualifications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree, Production, Industrial Engineer, Mechanical Eng.
• Minimum of 3 yrs of experience in a Maquiladora Business at a Supervisor level.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Problem solving techniques.
• Ability to administrate, delegate and handling more than three projects at any time.
