ABOUT THIS ROLE 

The Check Cashing Analyst will play a key role in the enforcement of the check cashing policies and best practice principals while verifying and analyzing checks.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Handle an average of 40 calls daily.
• Receive incoming calls and provide excellent customer service. 
• Answer inquiries and questions professionally by phone or email.
• Accurately enter or verify the customer's information in our proprietary system (LexisNexis).
• Conduct full check verification when issuer/payee is new customer.
• Contact issuer to verify the check information before processing transaction.
• Identify problems or issues and propose solutions to management.
• Meet quality assurance requirements and other key performance metrics.  

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Experience in customer service in a call center environment.
• Must have excellent phone etiquette.
• The key characteristics this individual must possess are having a positive attitude and being analytical.
• Able to type 40 WPM.
• Check cashing or banking experience preferred.
• Must be flexible to work extended hours or weekends.
