Responsibilities

·Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.

·Maintain work flow by monitoring steps of the process; rigorously enforcing work Standards settings processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments

Technical/Functional Skills

·Supervision of skilled trades across three shifts

·Proficient in measurement Systems, Proficient Math skills.

·Planning /Coordinating/Organizational skills to minimize equipment downtime and production needs

·General machining skills and knowledge for repair component design and understanding

·Working knowledge of Mexican safety regulations

·Lean production manufacturing experience preferred

·Proficient knowledge of planned maintenance tools; including computer skills, data evaluation and presentation skills (SAP maintenance module preferred)

·Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings; understand budgeting and elementary business
