YOUR TASKS
Designing and implementing
comprehensive test strategies and ensuring that these are adequately documented
and understood.
Leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of established QA
standards, controls, methods, and procedures.
Developing test plans, test cases, and automation tests based on product
requirements and design specifications.
Identifying, analyzing, and
documenting defects, questionable behavior, and inconsistencies in products
during testing.
Managing the day-to-day
activities of the test engineering team including managing team performance,
allocating resources, and project scheduling, maintaining an optimum ratio b/w
reporting rate and domain added value to the projects.
Collaborating with
cross-functional teams (such as the software engineering team, System
engineering team and product managers, etc.) to ensure high-quality product
development.
Evaluating, identifying, and
recommending appropriate technologies, tools, and resources for test plans and
procedures.
Ensuring the timely delivery of different testing milestones.
Providing ongoing improvement to
reliability, usability, and performance of system-wide software testing
protocols.
Coordinating and assisting with software release processes and activities.
Reviewing and evaluating the
performance of the test engineering team members and providing feedback.
Providing technical leadership and expert consultancy to team members.
Ensuring the implementation of
best practices in agile testing, test-driven development, continuous
integration, and related areas.
Tracking and updating necessary
stakeholders regarding bug and issue tracking, retrospective analysis, and
related software quality metrics.
Creating and managing test
environments and assisting in troubleshooting issues.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related
technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Previous experience as a Test Engineering Manager.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools,
and processes.
Experience with Virtualization of ECU and its respective
test virtual test environment.
Solid experience in the entire V Cycle process, Env TB, EMC,
ELC, Functional Test, etc.
Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively,
fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational
skills.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and
deadlines concurrently.
Professional certifications like CSTE, ISTQB are considered
a plus.
