Job Description

The Software QA engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our North American solutions are developed and released to production with the highest level of quality possible. You will be involved during the development life cycle of several applications: like Blue Yonder, SAP ERP systems, HR applications and etc, supporting on the design of the test scripts, run and automation of tests when applicable.

Qualifications

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Quickly learn and become an expert in our products/solutions and apply this knowledge to ensure code quality and A bug-free deployment.
• Work closely with the customers, the solution team and the IT Product/Services, which are involved in the development of our solutions.
• Develops and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer conversations.
• In some specific projects, report and document defects found during testing and work with the development team and users to ensure they are resolved.
• Use a variety of testing tools and techniques, including manual and automated testing, to identify and report software defects.
• Design and develop automation frameworks for validation test automation.
• Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of software components and systems.

Qualifications:

• Problem-solving skills (analysis, options, driving decisions).
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Good understanding of relevant Enterprise IT products/services as well as customer environments.
• Good communication skills.
• 3+ years in QA testing, preferably including expertise with automated testing tools and a solid understanding of the industry's best practices.
• Experience with test automation using framework development using Python, PyTest, Robot Framework, etc.
• Demonstrate proficiency in at least one software development language ( MOCA, JavaScript, Python, .NET or Ruby).
• Experience in PHP and JavaScript programming for automated testing scripts.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of the software development life cycle and Agile development methodologies.
• Has a good knowledge on test tools: ALM, JIRA ,DevOps continues testing solution, cycle labs.
• Experience in testing RESTful API's either through postman or any other testing frameworks.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS, or equivalent field required.
