Role- QA Automation Engineer

Location – Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a test automation engineer.
• Strong experience in test automation within the industrial sector.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Advanced experience with the Playwright tool and JavaScript language.
• Proficiency in the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern for creating maintainable and scalable automated tests.
• Experience in testing SOAP and REST web services.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Ability to design, develop, and execute automated test cases.
• Skill in analyzing test results and generating detailed reports.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop test automation scripts using Playwright and JavaScript.
• Implement the POM design pattern for efficient automated test creation.
• Perform SOAP and REST web service testing to ensure API quality.
• Execute and maintain automated test suites.
• Analyze test results and generate detailed defect reports.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues.
• Participate in defining test strategies and the continuous improvement of QA processes.
• Collaborate in agile methodology environments.
