POSITION: TECHNICAL PROCESS PLANNER
Educational Requirements:
· Bachelor/Master degree in mechanical engineering or similar
Required experience:
· At least 3-5 years within the automotive industry in a similar role.
KPI´s Functionals:
· Machine Project milestones according to project timing and machine KPIs (cycle time, # operators, technical availability, documentation, capability…)
· Project customer builds completed successfully and on time together with project team
· CAPEX cashout completed according to project timing and budget
· Process routing targets according to project budget (cycle time, # operators, process flow) and completed with other departments (LOG, CAR)
Functions and Responsabilities:
- ?Responsible for new projects and for implementing the complete process flow until handover to the manufacturing team.
- Lead process-related topics between the project team, process engineers, and manufacturing, including internal and customer reviews.
- Manage arrival, unloading, connection, commissioning of equipment, as well as production trials and final acceptance.
- Coordinate support from areas such as Quality, Maintenance, and Safety during production trials.
- Participate in equipment acquisition: defining technical requirements, purchasing, acceptance, ensuring the project stays within budget.
- Design workstations that are safe, ergonomic, and efficient; create and maintain master data and process work plans in SAP.
- Ensure integration of equipment data systems (MES, track-and-trace) from the pre-series phase.
- Monitor process KPIs and take corrective actions until successful handover to manufacturing.
- Guarantee manufacturing standards, technical documentation, spare parts lists, and calibration plans are complete.
- Coordinate creation and maintenance of process FMEAs and training of shopfloor personnel.
- Conduct risk analyses together with Health & Safety.
- Support feasibility studies and concepts for new project acquisitions.
- Act as the primary contact for process engineering topics in the plant.
- Lead cost-saving and improvement initiatives, such as cycle time reduction, Kaizen, SMED, etc.?
