Descripción
Founded in 2013, Plantlogic has since developed business operations in 10 countries across North & South America, Africa, and APAC. Our objective is to provide innovative growing systems to help our customers build profitable modern farms. With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking a Sales Operations Manager to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The Sales Operations Manager will manage the Inside Sales team Americas, while leading the logistics in the region.
Responsibilities:
1) Manage the sales operations in Americas region, including:
a) Inside Sales
- Grow our inside sales organization Americas to exceed our customers' expectations.
- Own the inside sales strategy to provide a streamlined connection with our internal processes.
- Implement a sales rewards and development system for both new and existing employees.
- Roll up your sleeves to support your team with various day to day activities and projects.
b) Sales CRM
- Evolve sales reporting strategy and sales forecasting.
- Upgrade entire NetSuite approach to maximize compliance, effectiveness, and ease of use.
- Create territory segmentation to clearly assign goals and responsibilities.
c) Logistics
- Lead logistics team to ensure that our list of vendors provide high quality solutions.
- Optimize global warehouse network to leverage commercial strategy while protecting our assets.
2) Act as the Inside sales role for the Mexico and Noth Americas region, and focus on:
a) Revenue Generation
- Work with Field Sales or other representatives to deeply understand growers' needs and effectively guide them to the Plantlogic product that best solves their problems.
- Lead generation and qualification through farm visits, trade shows, customer referrals, phone calls, screening, etc.
- Quarterly travel to tradeshows and customer grow sites.
b) Customer Lifecycle:
- Provide fast accurate quotes and lead times.
- Order fulfillment process.
- Ensure payment terms are agreed and completed.
c) Support Company Development
- Know the competing and substitute products, services, and sales strategies relative to the growers' needs to be confident in our value proposition, and confidently provide guidance to Plantlogic management.
- Deeply know your own territory strategy including timing and seasons, regions, crops and key customers to support sales forecasts, production planning and promotion activities.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of people leadership experience, demonstrating the following key management/leadership skills
- Ownership and responsibility
- Planning skills with clear logic
- Commitment and reliable execution
- Ability to delegate whole guaranteeing completion.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience.
• Business level English. Excellent reading and writing in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor's degree in International Business Management, Marketing or Operations related.
• Experience selling products to businesses (i.e. not services, hotels, entertainment, etc.)
• Experience selling and closing deals remotely such as over email, phone, email, Whatsapp, etc.
• Strong Excel skills for cost, schedule, and other detailed calculations.
• Able to explain personal and professional task management system for their own, subordinates as well as tracking processes across departments.
Better if you have:
• Experience in agriculture, especially greenhouses, fertilizer or irrigation.
• Cold calling skills.
• Experience using CRM systems to analyze and track results.
• Experience working in a sales team where work with a lead/prospect or client is shared among two or more team members.
• Understanding of project management methodology.
• Experience building and improving business processes.
• Experience working with colleagues and team members in other countries and time zones.

- 09:00-18:00, Monday to Friday. Because this is management position, full time work in office (Guadalajara, Jalisco) is required.
