We are looking for: Electrical Leader (Strong experience in reengineering, programming, and automation)

Objective:

Responsible for providing specialized electrical support, developing the technical capacity of the RSTs (Resource Support Team) and electrical teams in your business unit, providing technical support in the implementation of improvement projects, and ensuring the proper functioning of the electrical, electronic, and programming components of the production lines in your Business Unit (BU) to guarantee compliance with SQCDM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale) objectives.

What You Will Do

• Coordinates with electrical RSTs the execution of maintenance, repair, and improvement activities on all electrical, electronic, and programming (PLC) systems in your BU.
• Ensures that all technical documentation for your BU related to electronic equipment is up-to-date and available.
• Documents all improvements or loss eliminations, ensuring the understanding of all electrical teams in the BU.
• They are able to interpret drawings and schematics appropriate to their responsibilities and field of work and apply this knowledge.
• They are responsible for providing maintenance methods, practices, and techniques in their field of work.
• They create and reinforce behaviors that support continuous improvement and a culture of loss elimination through the sustainable implementation of work systems.
• They identify areas of opportunity in chronic electrical losses and implement effective countermeasures to eliminate them.
• They participate in FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), JSP (Workplace Safety Procedures), and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) analyses.
• They apply DDS (Continuous Improvement Cycle) and root cause analysis to reduce losses in their BU, generating new standards and training staff to execute them with discipline.
• They are responsible for electrical equipment in improvement projects, equipment assembly and disassembly, and the elimination of safety-related risks. Attends random Daily Operations Meetings (DOM) (based on needs and priorities) to provide feedback regarding electrical equipment, as well as any alerted equipment that may impede process continuity.
• Provides support, training, and advice to electrical RSTs, operators, and staff under their supervision in the management of electrical components on production lines.
• Coordinates electrical support activities for restoration requirements on production lines as well as the repair of spare parts equipment.

Who You Are

1. Education: Control and automation engineering, mechatronics, electronics (degree required).
2. Experience: 8 or more years in electrical and mechanical maintenance, automation, commissioning, improvement projects, maintenance, or similar.
3. Language: Intermediate English (essential)
4. Knowledge and skills:
5. Execution and programming of PLCs, components, and/or software: Siemens (S7 300, S7 400, MM440, etc.) and Allen Bradley (RSLogix 5000, RSLogix 500, MicroLogix, etc.).
6. Industrial communication networks (Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet IP, Sercos).
7. Motion control (Bosch Rexroth MLC PPC, SINAMICS/SIMOTION) Servomotors.
8. HMI (Wincc, TIA Portal).
9. Knowledge of power electronics (converters, variable frequency drives, and power supplies).
10. Basic knowledge of electrical protection in substations and the use of diagnostic equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, Meggers, and power line analyzers).
11. Knowledge of pneumatic, instrumentation, and control components.
12. Knowledge of medium and high voltage is desirable.
