We are currently seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our team in Hermosillo, Mexico. This role will support talented contractors across Latin America, with a primary focus on the growing operations in Mexico. You'll be part of an engaging and supportive Global Recruiting team, collaborating regularly with colleagues in the US and Latin American vendor partners.
We are looking for someone proactive, motivated, and passionate about making an impact in Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Partner with US hiring managers and HR Business Partners to efficiently fill roles.
- Manage the recruitment process from candidate selection to onboarding.
- Track hiring progress and proactively identify areas needing attention.
- Contribute creative ideas to attract and retain great talent.
Employee Relations
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees with HR-related questions, coordinating solutions alongside vendor HR teams.
- Assist with resolving conflicts, disciplinary matters, and terminations, ensuring compliance with local laws.
- Champion positive employee experiences and initiatives to enhance engagement and retention.
Compliance and Legal
- Ensure vendor adherence to labor regulations and internal policies.
- Stay informed and updated on Mexican labor laws and relevant regulations (IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAT).
Payroll and Benefits
- Review and process vendor invoices.
- Oversee vendor administration of benefits programs.
Training and Development
- Collaborate with managers and HR partners to identify development opportunities.
- Organize training sessions, workshops, and assist in performance evaluations.
HR Administration
- Maintain accurate HR records and team databases.
- Manage employee lifecycle documentation and status changes.
- Prepare essential HR reports and metrics.
Profile
- 4+ years of experience in HR roles.
- Solid understanding of Mexican labor laws, employee benefits, compliance, and regulations.
- Excellent bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish).
- Proactive attitude, with strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
