Job Overview

Responsible to plan, develop, implement, and maintain all EHS Programs for the facility with the primary objective of eliminating workplace injuries and maintaining facility compliance. Responsible on supervising EHS Technicians.

A Day In The Life

• Develop and maintain written EHS programs for the facility.
• Develop and administer programs to reduce work-related injuries and accidents.
• Track and report on leading and lagging safety metrics. Analyze data and work with plant supervision on ideas for improvement.
• Complete Job Hazard Analyses (JHA's) and risk reduction activities.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local EHS regulations and interact with these agencies as required.
• Implement and uphold internal company policies, guidelines, and best practices.
• Develop and provide EHS training to employees as needed.
• Lead permitting and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Provide guidance to the site's Safety Committee.
• Coordinate activities with business unit and Corporate EHS
• Coordinate EHS Technicians to comply with Department strategy and provide service to the sites

• BS degree in Safety, Health, and Environmental discipline or related with 2-5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting.
