We are currently looking for a Design and Release Engineer (DRE) to join active development programs within the automotive industry. The selected candidate will support the design, validation, and release of mechanical components for OEM and Tier 1 projects.

Ideal candidates will have experience with components such as brackets, frames, covers, or metallic structures related to powertrain or body systems. Strong CAD skills (NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks) and knowledge of validation and manufacturing processes are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, model, and release mechanical components using 3D/2D CAD tools.
• Manage engineering changes (ECNs), technical documentation, and BOM updates.
• Provide technical support during validation, prototyping, and production phases.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, validation, and quality teams.
• Review specifications, drawings, and ensure compliance with engineering standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related engineering fields.
• 0 to 4 years of experience in automotive component design (technical internships are valid).
• Proficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks.
• Technical English (reading and writing specifications and emails).
• Availability to work onsite or hybrid depending on the project.

Nice to have:

• Experience in student engineering teams (Formula SAE, Electratón, etc.).
• Familiarity with GD&T, validation processes, and manufacturing environments.
• Previous interaction with suppliers or production plants.
