ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
? Responsibility for shift scheduling including work station assignments/shift rotations, training, vacations, breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent Team Members
? Coordinating production startups, shutdowns and changeovers
? Attaining shift production goals
? Operating within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs)
? Communicating with other Shift Supervisors and Plant Managers
? Responsibility for quality control, adjust as necessary during shift to produce product within specification
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED
? 3 - 5 years as a Supervisory and or Team Leader
? Proven experience related to lean principles and practices
? Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures and high volume production machinery and systems
? Desire to function in a team based environment with aspirations for personal growth
? Excellent oral and written communication skills and dedication to Team Member morale, customer service, safety, quality and delivery
? Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize workload and meet deadlines
? Superior organizational and problem-solving skills
