The Operations Manager is responsible for monitoring and analyzing key operational metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet production targets and financial objectives.
Improving On-time Delivery for customers, Productivity Improvements, Process Controls against standards, within a Daily Management Environment for continuous improvement.
Driving Product Quality, Lean, and Problem Solving to ensure customer delivery and satisfaction, and ensure internal business metrics are met.
Role will be responsible for setting the strategy and driving operational excellence and accountability around safety, quality, delivery, cost, and culture, leading through people by leveraging Lean methodologies and servant leadership.
Knowledge and understanding of the production process, sewing work instructions, to ensure that a device conforms to its specifications.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers. Able to lead within a cross-functional organization and articulate production escalations.
Ensure installation capacity for current and new programs. Able to communicate directions for upper management.
Qualifications
BS Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, etc.)
Additional certifications or advanced degrees are a plus.
10 years' experience in the automotive industry, operations, supply chain, engineering, or materials.
Demonstrated leadership and global project management
Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
Influence and communicate well with all levels of the organization, including senior leadership.
