ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

? Responsibility for shift planning and scheduling, including team member work assignments/shift rotations and attaining shift productivity goals

? Providing leadership, direction and seek to empower Team Members

? Act as the SAP subject matter expert, supporting the launch, training, and ongoing system updates and improvements.

? Coordinating production startups and shutdowns

? Operating within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and plant Health and Safety policies

? Work with the operations and engineering team to develop and continuously improve logistics, storage and delivery strategies.

? FI/FO Management of raw materials using SAP inventory software for all inventory transactions. (Goods receiving, Goods Issuing, Material Transfers, Cycle counting, etc.)

? Support the inventory Supply Chain team, ensuring warehouse inventory accuracy through cycle count and physical inventory programs

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

? 3 - 5 years as a Logistics Supervisor

? In-depth knowledge and practical use of SAP warehouse management system is required

? Proven experience related to shipping/receiving, material flow, lean principles and practices

? Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures and high-volume production machinery and systems

? Knowledge of forklift operation and warehouse storage safety procedures

? Able to work shift work

? Experience and proven knowledge with Health and Safety Standards and Employment Law

? Ability to interact effectively with all levels and all positions within the organization

? Driven and energetic with a strong technical background and understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
