Lead the design, supervision, and execution of comprehensive tax strategies for individual and corporate clients, ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and international tax regulations. Provide high-level advisory services while directing a multidisciplinary tax team to consistently deliver technical excellence and client value.
Key Responsibilities:
Tax Planning and Advisory Services:
Design, review, and supervise efficient, ethical, and legally sound tax planning strategies in accordance with current legislation.
Provide specialized tax advisory services on federal, state, and international tax matters for both individual and corporate clients.
Review and validate tax structures, technical reports, and tax opinions, ensuring technical rigor and legal compliance.
Regulatory Compliance:
Oversee the timely and accurate fulfillment of clients' tax obligations, including returns, payments, notices, and informative filings.
Validate tax opinions, technical analyses, and client communications, ensuring technical depth, accuracy, and alignment with legal standards.
Team Leadership and Development:
Supervise, coordinate, and motivate a team of Managers, Consultants, and Analysts.
Design and implement training programs and technical development plans for the tax department.
Master's degree or diploma in Taxation (preferred)
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience, including leadership and supervisory roles.
Solid knowledge of the Mexican tax legal framework (ISR, IVA, CFF, among others).
Experience managing tax audits, tax litigation/defense, and strategic tax planning.
Prior experience in public accounting or consulting firms (preferred).
