About the role

This position oversees applying research on the planning, design, test and implementation follow up of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems. They will also investigate pertinent design factors such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, communality, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency and cost.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Product Engineer (Electric/Electronics), you'll be responsible for:

• Utilizing project administration best practices to implement changes on cost and timely manner
• Researching, planning, developing and implementing key programs and cost optimization projects
• Knowing product certification ETL/UL and maintaining accuracy of agency files.
• Leading and executing Level 3-4 programs under minimum supervision/direction, sustaining team to support any cost optimization alterations, updates, improvements activities with a particular focus in the following:
• Project/Engineering Management
• Test and certification
• Program Management
• General Design

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• BSc in Mechanical, Electric or Electronic Engineering
• 5-7 years of experience in a relevant position
• Knowledge in product certification ETL/UL and maintaining accuracy of agency files.
• Problem resolution experience
• Project experience (improvement, cost reduction, change introductions)
• Advanced English (required)

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• Knowledge in HVAC systems
• Knowledge in Thermodynamics
