IT Specialist (Banking Networking and Infrastructure)

Name: Position: IT Deputy Head

Job purpose

IT need a position to handle IT related work as Individual contributor. Include network Equipment Management, IT system maintenance, business system support such as SPEI/SPID, etc. He/she need to monitor, resolve, follow up production incident and implement changes. Cooperate IT Security Manager to comply with regulations and bank's policy.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

1. Cybersecurity and Network Equipment Management

Responsible for the establishment of the company's overall network framework.

Implement cybersecurity requirements in accordance with the requirements of the HO and the applicable local regulators.

Responsible for the operation and deployment of various network devices, including firewalls, switches, routers, and so on.

2. Data Center Maintenance

Power Generator, UPS, Air Condition maintenance and exercise drill quarterly.

Site Management, install physical server, storage array, install network devices and System Management: Install OS like Windows Server, Linux Server.

Devices and Inventory management.

3. Production Management

Responsible for IT incident management, IT changes management.

Responsible for data management include Backup service and perform drill.

Responsible for voice recording system.

Perform the capacity and performance analysis, perform monitoring and develop the report.

Virtual Infrastructure Management: implement and maintain the vCenter, ESXi, VMware.

Install Microsoft Patches (Monthly), Linux patches (Quarterly).

Responsible for DRP exercise.

High Availability management such as hardware redundancy, software active-standby mode deploy.

Assist in the management of databases such as ORACLE and SQL Server.

Other duties:

1. Responsible for analyze and understand the regulations related to infrastructure and production management, make proper implementation to make sure being in line with regulation.

2. Assist IT staff to implement project related to infrastructure and production part.

3. Cooperate with Auditors to collect evidence.

4. Cooperate with the bank to perform BCP related to infrastructure and production part.

Rigid Qualifications and Skills that must have

• Education:

Bachelor degree or above in IT related majors, Computer and systems engineering or related

• Experience (in years):

At least 2 years of work experience in the field of network engineering and in Banking Sector

• Professional Skills & Abilities:

Specialist in network configuration like routers, switches, VPN, etc.(Key Requirements).

Specialist in VMWARE technology like vCenter and ESXi maintenance.

Specialist in Operating system like install and configuration for Windows and Linux.

Ability to understand clearly of the rules and regulations (Banxico and CNBV).

• Language Skills and level (intermediate, advanced, etc.)

English Fluent intermediate to advanced level

Spanish Native

• Computer Skills :

Graduated from computer and communication technology related subject.
