POSITION SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The DevOps Engineer I is responsible for designing, testing, implementing, and supporting all DevOps activities infrastructure. Provide consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning, problem management, integration, and configuration
Responsibilities Level I
Responsible for executing, testing, implementing, and supporting all DevOps activities and infrastructure.
Provides direct technical support in problem management, integration, and configuration
Responsible for coding and maintenance of DevOps automation.
Responsible for designing all DevOps activities and infrastructure.
Provides consultation and direct technical support in life cycle planning.
Provides consultation for problem management, integration, and configuration.
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical team members
Good understanding of corporate IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative working environment within a team and beyond
Strong understanding of change management
Excellent decision-making skills
Certificates / Training:
Preferred: ITIL v3 Foundational level
Experience Level I:
1+ experience in systems administration or DevOps tools administration
Experience in working in DevOps teams in an Agile Delivery/onshore-offshore model
Experience in general automation of infrastructure, provisioning, and configuration management functions
Experience with release, workflow management, or in a variety of phases spanning the release lifecycle
Experience supporting configuration management activities to establish and maintain the integrity of the products
Education Required:
Bachelor's or Master's in information technology, computer science or related field
