We are looking for an: ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounting Manager to lead the Company's accounting function and build a strong internal control structure.

The Accounting Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring tax compliance with Mexican financial regulations, and providing key financial insights to support decision-making processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Manage all aspects of monthly and year-end closings including the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.

· Oversee and coordinate year-end external audits, ensuring successful and timely completion by providing necessary documentation and responses to inquiries.

· Manage and analyze P&L including sales, COGS, expenses, accruals, currency translations.

· Manage all tax-related activities, including VAT refund, annual income tax filing, payroll taxes, and other local tax compliance, ensuring timely filings and minimizing tax liabilities.

· Implement and enforce robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting principles, and company policies.

· Assess financial systems and process enhancements and drive improvements throughout the accounting organization.

· Oversee the management and reconciliation of inventory and fixed assets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current accounting pronouncements, and other compliance issues.

· Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, ensuring high performance, professional development, and adherence to deadlines.

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· CPA or CMA highly preferred.

· Expert level knowledge in Manufacture Accounting rules and regulations and in the application of those rules and regulations to a wide range of business activities.

· Advance proficiency in MS Excel.

· Minimum 7 years of accounting experience in manufacturing industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial role.

· Fluent in both Spanish and English is required. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for collaboration with international teams and stakeholders.

· The candidate must have a strong technical manufacture accounting background.
