Design Engineer – Heavy Vehicles

Position Purpose

The candidate will be part of the motor grader product engineering team, gaining experience and knowledge in product design, manufacturing, and support. Responsibilities and specific assignments will be based on the candidate's skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and select components, ensuring their integration into the system to meet applicable standards and regulations.
• Develop technical drawings, including bills of materials, manufacturing/assembly details, and inspection/testing specifications.
• Support production by collaborating with the team during builds and updating designs through Engineering Change Notices (ECN).
• Coordinate with internal departments such as Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Customer Support.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience in designing and/or manufacturing heavy, mobile, or construction equipment in mechanics, powertrain, fluid power, electricity, or software.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Draftsight, and MS Office.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, welding, assembly).
• Experience in similar positions.
• Intermediate-advanced English.
• Valid passport and availability to travel.
