Finance Manager

We are a leading automotive company in Parque KIA Pesquería, specializing in the manufacture and distribution of high-quality vehicle parts.

Position Summary

The Finance Manager oversees all facets of accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting. You will lead a team of finance professionals, drive process improvements, and ensure timely, accurate financial information in support of strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Control and monitor the monthly budget.
• Support development of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data; identify and explain variances in key ratios and budget deviations.
• Period-End Close
• Supervise bank reconciliations and other closing activities to ensure timely period closure.
• Process & Controls
• Establish, document, and enforce internal administrative and accounting procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican accounting standards and tax regulations; respond promptly to inquiries from municipal, state, and federal authorities.
• Team Leadership
• Manage and mentor the accounting, tax, costing, treasury, accounts payable, and accounts receivable teams.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.

Qualifications

• Experience:
• 5–8 years in accounting, including at least 5 years in tax compliance.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Technical Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of Mexican accounting standards (NIF) and tax legislation.
• Advanced Excel expertise; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).

• Education & Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree is a plus).
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CTP) is highly desirable.
