As a Global Vendor Tooling Trainee (Champ) you will be responsible to support the Buyers to design and assure the appropriate sourcing strategy is complying with standard quality requirements, negotiate the best cost, meet saving goals and assure the supply of parts/molds on time. All this, to support the different programs in timely fashion.

At the same time, you will be required to support the team in executing and implementing the different initiatives and projects to modernize and optimize our sourcing process to better utilize data to drive our decision-making process.

Responsibilities

• Support GVT buyers in the sourcing process
• Support and lead when necessary with the execution and implementation of the projects in progress to better analyze and use data (Data analytics)
• Review and maintain the cost databases
• Help the team to implement new data analytics tools for the GVT organization globally
• Develop analysis of sourcing to identify patterns and opportunities

Qualifications

• Microsoft Office (Excel-must)
• Motivated to learn new things
• Any knowledge in programing, macros, or any data analytics tool is desirable but not a must (PowerBI, QlikSense, Tableau, Python)
