What do you get to do in this position?
For a Manufacturing Site:
Main activitie
• Organize and optimize the procurement of components with our suppliers by following the SPS principles, from last ad value of the supplier to point of
use in the plant (physical and information flows, in close association with LWS4)
• Including logistic solutions, batch size, lead time, packaging, ABC/FMR analysis, components stocking policy, consignment stock ...
• Is responsible of the supplier forecast and their accuracy
• Monitor and improve the upstream SC performance
• Develop local suppliers base : improvement tools, competencies (Material management, SPS)
• Is in a continuous improvement approach for S-OTD & U-OTD / NLL, MOQA / LTA and DIN/NIN RM based on SPS/SIM principle
• Pilot the containment, corrective and preventive actions to solve upstream SC issues of the plant using the 8D methodology
• Escalade to SSCMEs for critical SC issues with supplier
• Responsible for the implementation of rules and principles of management of supplier
• PPEP, Transfer / Disengagement process, SAM audit, Contract / Logistic terms & condition
• Use Lean tools for Supply Chain performance : VSM, E-VSM, ...

- Set and release suppliers forecast and manage logistic terms and conditions.
- Ensure the update, quality and consistency of key parameters of supply and stock manage (ex: Replenishment Lead Time, Frequency, Stocking policy...)

Qualifications

This job might be for you if you fit the following Requirements:
- Experience in supply chain management
Management skills - Effective communication skills
- Leadership skills
- Bachelor's Degree
- Strong experience with SAP Production Scheduling Process
- Understanding of Engineering /Manufacturing Process is a plus
- Capacity for problems analysis and synthesis
- Proficiency in Excel
- Intercultural skills, team spirit, result oriented
- Initiative
- High capacity for communication and train production schedulers
- Fluent in English
