We are looking to hire a Payroll Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Reynosa Tamaulipas:
Responsibilities
Run calculation of weekly/biweekly/monthlu payroll process
Timesheet's data entry
Run calculation of special payroll processes (Christmas bonus, profit sharing, saving fund, etc)
Running of appropriate reports and distribution of the payroll to the employees.
Review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations.
Answer all ZF plants and their employees' questions concerning the payroll and individual paysilps.
Ensures compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws regarding payroll.
Make sure that time and attendance data and other payroll interfaces are correct.
Ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved and ZF accounting policies and practices adhered to.
Submit information using Tax agencies Portals(SAT,IMSS, INFONAVIT)
Calculate and prepare payroll taxes (SUA, State, Federal)
Experience using the SUA program and employees annual tax return calculations
Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.
Requirements:
Accounting, Administration or Finance Degree
The ideal candidate with 3-4 years Payroll process experience.
Experience with USA, Canada Payroll process will be a PLUS
80-90% Bilingual English/Spanish
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
Knowledge of People Soft, SAP and QAD system preferred.
Very Good computer skills using MS Office.
Strong Experience in Internal Controls
The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
