We are looking to hire a Payroll Accountant to join our Shared Services team in Reynosa Tamaulipas:

Responsibilities

• Run calculation of weekly/biweekly/monthlu payroll process
• Timesheet's data entry
• Run calculation of special payroll processes (Christmas bonus, profit sharing, saving fund, etc)
• Running of appropriate reports and distribution of the payroll to the employees.
• Review earnings, deductions, and benefits calculations.
• Answer all ZF plants and their employees' questions concerning the payroll and individual paysilps.
• Ensures compliance with Mexican Federal and State laws regarding payroll.
• Make sure that time and attendance data and other payroll interfaces are correct.
• Ensuring all reporting deadlines are achieved and ZF accounting policies and practices adhered to.
• Submit information using Tax agencies Portals(SAT,IMSS, INFONAVIT)
• Calculate and prepare payroll taxes (SUA, State, Federal)
• Experience using the SUA program and employees annual tax return calculations
• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
• Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance.

Requirements:

• Accounting, Administration or Finance Degree
• The ideal candidate with 3-4 years Payroll process experience.
• Experience with USA, Canada Payroll process will be a PLUS
• 80-90% Bilingual English/Spanish
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
• Knowledge of People Soft, SAP and QAD system preferred.
• Very Good computer skills using MS Office.
• Strong Experience in Internal Controls
• The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
