About the role
This role is expected to plan and execute tasks assigned to deliver on time, as well as manage time efficiently to prioritize the right things and keep projects moving on schedule. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of tolerance analysis (GD&T).
Key Responsibilities:
As an Associate Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Supporting the release of engineering designs to manufacturing plants.
- Participating in the design process from the Engineering Concept through Manufacturing check sample.
- Producing drawings and BOMs using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) and PLM system.
- Designing and drafts components, assemblies and packaging.
- Completing design tasks using PLM workflows.
- Maintaining integrity in all engineer data and keep the engineering bill of materials updated.
- Collaborating closely with project engineers to guarantee the accuracy and approval of designs.
- Keeping Design services metrics within objectives.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are responsible, and time-oriented. If this is you, get in touch.
As a minimum you must have:
- Engineering degree: IME, IMA, IA, IMTC with 1+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience working in an Engineering design environment
- Knowledge in Parametric Computer-aided Design software (Sheet metal, 3D modeling, assemblies, Drawing, Wiring routing, Piping).
- Experienced with windchill PLM.
- Technical knowledge in design concept.
- Understanding of drafting standard and procedures.
- Knowledge of tolerance analysis (GD&T).
- Advanced English (required).
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- HVAC knowledge
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities.
