Job Description

The Software Engineer's responsibilities include:

• Developing top of the art solutions, collaborate with other teams to help evolve Doceng Tools to the next level.
• Developing scalable applications with high quality standards
• Taking on a project lead role to the junior developers.
• Interacting and working with Doceng Development, Support, Quality Assurance, and Production teams and Information Architects to resolve issues.
• Interacting and working with teams external to Doceng and to the main Product Documentation organization.Job Requirements

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical applications in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 2+ years of Software Development Experience.

Qualifications, working knowledge / experience in the following areas:

• +2 Experience in Software Development
• +5 years of experience in Java
• +2 years of experience in Javascript
• Some experience in Docker, React.js, Maven, Gradle, Ant
• Code Quality and Best Practices
• Design Patterns
• Experience using :
• Microservices based applications
• HTML, XHTML, XML, XSLT, CSS, JSON
• Perl and/or Python are a plus
• Web and Rest services
• SQL
