The SQA Engineer's job is to improve quality when it comes to Parts Per Million (PPM) / Plant Demerits targets.

The main objectives of this profile are:

• Review the new External Parts (BOP) process with the support and cooperation of the Supplier Quality Engineer (ASQ).
• Responsible for administrative (applicable) process of the quality management system.
• Direct existing External Parts (BOP) process audits when parts are subject to troubleshooting action. According to the performance of the supplier.
• Gather the quality indicators of the suppliers required for the plant in charge and communicate them to the Quality Manager.
• Manage containment, corrective and preventive actions with suppliers to solve problems for external parts.
• Manage corrective action progress plans and supplier improvement together with plant buyers
• Manage the PPAP of suppliers, having as a requirement the functional approval by the quality engineer responsible for the program.
• Manage annual PPAPs
• Ensure compliance with the supplier's material counter-testing program
• Coordinate receipt inspection activities
• Maintenance to the area and quarantine inventory and inspection receipt
• Contact and management of personnel of internal draw services.
• Ensure compliance with specific customer requirements applicable to suppliers
• Identify, analyze, evaluate and implement risk mitigation activities in the applicable QMS process.
