Your Role

At Aptiv, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions that make transportation safer, greener, and more connected. Our embedded engineers design, develop, and validate advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), Compute and Security and User Experience products. In this role, you will design, develop, and validate diagnostics software for automotive applications. Your day to day will consist of the following:

• Develop software for active safety production projects
• Design, code, and test real-time embedded systems
• Plan and coordinate software development activities with other global sites
• Internal and customer diagnostics SW design and implementation and triaging
• Responsible for static analysis, unit testing, and integration testing of the software on a hardware platform
• Responsible to understand Autosar architecture and be able develop software
• Coordinating with cross regional teams as needed to achieve project objectives
• Automotive SPICE (Software Performance Improvement and Capability determination) and Functional Safety process compliance

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, or related field of study)
• Bilingual - proficient in English speaking/reading/writing
• Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven.
• Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity Ability to effectively manage several projects at once Strong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile
• Familiar with Embedded C on microcontroller architectures At least 6 months of work experience in Automotive Industry or Consumer Electronics

Nice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications):

• Knowledge of XCP protocol

• Experience in realizing ISO26262 Technical Safety Concepts - RAM test, ROM test, Lock step, CPU test, MPU, OS configurations for multicore architectures would be big plus
• Experience in RTE generation, make environments, multi-party software integration
• Experience in Low power mode implementation, factory-test software
