The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement Department at the Guadalajara Ingredion

IGS. This role offers the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics,

procurement, and process improvement within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Core Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of standardized procurement procedures and guidelines.
• Perform data analytics activities to extract valuable insights from procurement data.
• Generate comprehensive reports and dashboards to aid in decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with procurement to identify best practices and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of data analytics tools and systems.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports and dashboards.
• Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Assist in the creation of training materials and conduct training sessions for site procurement teams.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Analytics or Industrial Engineering or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, SQL, VBA or similar,
• Strong knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Continuous improvement oriented
• Fluency in English is a plus
• Knowledge in SAP and SAP Ariba is a plus.
