Main Responsibilities

As Technical Information Specialist for the Enterprise Technical Information Development (ETID) organization, you will lead and support the development of technical service information such as operator's manuals, diagnostic and repair technical manuals, and installation instructions.

In addition, you will:

• Lead and support global technical information innovation projects that enable and align with strategic ambitions, such as product lifecycle support and aftermarket growth.
• Be accountable and responsible for development and delivery of high-quality technical service information supporting new product development and continuous improvement projects.
• Collaborate with ETID Project Leaders to define project plan, scope resource needs, and execute content development activities.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering and serve as the technical expert for the products, systems, and technologies you are responsible for.
• Strong engagement and collaboration with external/internal content developers, as well as key cross functional stakeholders including design engineering, manufacturing engineering, product verification and validation, customer support engineering, and technical training development.
• Attend, execute, and document: assembly/disassembly of products, operational/maintenance/test procedures that take place on the shop floor, an agricultural field, or a mechanical workshop.

What Skills You Need

• 1+ years of exposure to one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical.
• Fluent in English - strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Learning agility and ability to adapt with ease.
• Ability and passion for working in a team environment to identify innovation solutions and solve for business challenges.
• Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule (early morning) and visit Saltillo and Ramos Arizpe factories when necessary to support business needs. Driver license is required.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%.

What Makes You Stand Out

• Experience diagnosing product issues in one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical.
• Experience using Engineering tools such as: CAD, Creo/CreoView, and/or Windchill.
• Experience working with global team members.
• Project Management experience.

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Agronomy, Ag Sciences, or equivalent work experience.
