Key purpose
Make sure advanced analytics outcomes are usable (realistic) and adopted within the context of the region.
Accountable for driving improvements to data mapping, reporting systems, and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Main accountabilities, responsibilities and deliverables
Transforming, improving and integrating data, depending on the business requirement
Analyze business performance as it pertains to revenue, orders, and margin to facilitate management decision-making
Optimize adoption and business impact from the advanced analytics data products (models for business recommendations, segmentations, optimizations & statistical forecasts) across marketing, sales, pricing & logistics.
Champions the implementation of the data products into the digital sales channels and continuously check for usability.
Collaborates with the advanced analytics central team on the conceptualization of the statistical algorithmic methodologies, for which she/he will act as an ambassador for the region.
Participate on routines together with Commercial Management to ensure advanced analytics adoption.
Collaborate with advanced analytics central team and IT to onboard the relevant regional data sources which could add value to data products.
Mine large dataset of customers, market, competition, industry trends, .... to generate new insights and detect business opportunities enhancing commercial excellence and targeted selling
Communicating data in visual ways that are useful for both subject matter experts as well as business user.
Required skills and experience / main competencies
Systems competency in SAP, Microsoft 365 (especially Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint), COGNOS, Tableau, and Salesforce.com
Strong data communication skills (verbal, written, presentation); ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise and actionable way
Strong experience in business analysis
Strong Knowledge of data science use cases, which methodologies exist and what they can be used for.
Databases (ex. Oracle, AWS S3), ETL tools (ex. Talend), Big Data platforms (ex. Databricks).
Experience with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), and the Structured Query Language (SQL)
An entrepreneurial spirit, high commitment to navigate and resilience to go around roadblocks and politics.
