Position Summary
Project Director is fully responsible for the successful delivery of projects to specification within the timelines and budget, to ensure high client satisfaction and revenue growth through repeat business. The Project Director should have great written and verbal communication skills to foster strong relationships with clients with the allocated accounts, as well as with other team members and support teams within the organisation. Working very closely with the Team Leader and the rest of the team, the Project Director must have the capabilities to work independently as well as a part of a team alongside more junior colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility and ownership for the delivery projects on time, to specification and within budget.
- Primary client contact on each study after commissioning
- Grow revenue: by providing a positive experience and high client satisfaction there will be an increase of repeat business
- Provide mentorship & guidance to assigned project manager throughout the study
- Management of the project budget, and liaison with the consultants and clients accordingly
- Build a strong relationship with clients based on trust, quality and partnership
Key Skills, Knowledge & Professional Education
- Expert questionnaire review and feedback
- Plan and communicate detailed timeline
- Work closely with the project managers including high level management & guidance of all fieldwork resources and revision of metrics (IR, RR, LOI)
- Provide solutions to ensure study requirements are on track to be achieved according to the timeline, spec and budget
- Troubleshoot and solve any issues on projects, while adhering to Business Rules
- Providing support/ advice to the sales team as needed, regarding all elements of delivery, throughout the lifecycle of a project
- Continuous process improvement; review our processes and systems and capabilities; suggest improvements (via forums, brainstorming, team meetings etc)
- Constantly review budget versus actual spend and ensure there is a clear understanding of the reasons for any overrun, taking appropriate action
