Understand the international trading system and applicable legislation, acting in accordance with existing national and international legislation.
Keep abreast of developments in customs and other legislation that directly or indirectly affect foreign trade activities and their effects.
Coordinate the IMMEX and PROSEC programs, as well as develop and implement customs initiatives to increase results.
Coordination of the tariff classification process and free trade agreements.
Conducting audits, creating and implementing action plans to ensure continuous improvement and risk mitigation.
Educational Prerequisites
Bachelor's degree in foreign Trade and Customs or a related field, with a minimum of five years of verifiable experience equivalent to related experience.
Advanced English – TOEFL min. score of ITP 585 / iBT 84, CEFR level B2-C1 (or equivalent)
Technical Prerequisites
Strong work ethic.
Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with coworkers.
Demonstrated ability to perform within a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the team. ? Punctual, reliable, and competent.
Experience working for an IMMEX company into Automotive Industry
Ability to exercise appropriate discretion and sound judgment in performing work tasks and maintaining confidential information.
