¡Leading Company in the Market is looking for candidates for the position of Accounting Manager!

Responsibilities:

• Establish and drive strategic vision and priorities for the company's core accounting functions and alignment with the company strategies
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to existing processes through automation and partnership with cross functional departments to increase productivity while maintaining a strong internal control environment
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance with local regulations and company standards.
• Oversee the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate preparation and recording of financial transactions, account reconciliation, financial flux analysis and schedules for reporting to management and to the Corporate US team.
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax filings, and other regulatory reports.
• Identify automation opportunities while proactively engaging and collaborating with cross functional teams to build from concept to execution various scalable and transformational processes as well as to support new business initiatives.
• Partner with management and cross functional business partners to anticipate future business changes and challenges and proactively evaluate alternative courses of action and select optimal solutions
• Provide strategic guidance and mentor teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Guide and motivate a team of accounting professionals to grow their career, including development of technical and presentation skill sets.
• Stay abreast of changes in local accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements, ensuring timely compliance and adherence to best practices.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory examinations, responding to inquiries and addressing findings in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of Mexican accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in the consumer products industry.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting, cost management, and customer deductions.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software (SAP preferred).
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Leadership abilities, with a track record of mentoring and developing finance teams
