Profile

Responsible for ensuring activities related to employee salary and benefits policies, as well as the creation of pay scales for union negotiations. Supports the implementation of México's strategy, seeking internal and external balance in the compensation levels adopted by the company. Conducts competitiveness analyses and participates in salary surveys. Additionally, acts as an advisor to HR Managers on key points of the Compensation strategy, aiming to maintain and establish a competitive structure across all company locations.


Activities

  • ?Ensure participation in salary surveys and market comparisons to maintain the company's competitiveness, as well as the development of economic proposals for both internal and external employees as requested.
  • Support the annual merit increase process and assist with departmental needs, employee retention, and salary administration.
  • Manage data through HRIS systems, reports, salary structures, and the maintenance of these structures and/or systems, with the ability to handle audits related to these processes if required.
  • Coordinate the standardization of compensation and benefits across the region and help develop policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function, including specific projects for each location based on Human Resources needs.
  • Support union negotiations by developing/updating local pay scales, costing them, including benefits packages, and maintaining analyses and proposals aligned with budget and market trends to ensure effective negotiations.
  • Assist the Senior C&B Manager and the HR team by providing expertise and leadership in compensation matters throughout the region.
  • Provide analysis on compensation-related projects and topics and be responsible for updating and maintaining area policies, including Compensation Manuals, Relocation Policies, Minimum Wage or UMA updates where required for Human Resources analyses.
  • Manage corporate communications related to compensation (both internal and external) to ensure accuracy, clarity, and proper communication to employees.
  • Lead the Compensation and Benefits Analyst team by providing support, coaching, performance feedback, and training, as well as guiding departmental responsibilities and performance indicator compliance.
  • Ensure benefits and compensation manuals are updated and provided to the payroll department for application in the payroll system.
  • Support the administration and renewal of benefits, such as major medical expenses, life insurance, etc.


Required Skills and Knowledge

  • 5-7 Years of Experience in Compensations.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical methods to support trend analysis and decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently and provide advisory support.
  • Management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local and federal laws related to compensation and benefits administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, or similar).
  • Expertise in executive presentations (PPT).
  • Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in formulas.
