We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile apps and over the phone.
Last year, we helped nearly 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them, and over 350,000 people used us to send money overseas. Thousands of businesses relied on us for information about the currency markets, advice on managing their foreign exchange risk or trusted us with their business-critical international payments.

We are looking for an ambitious senior front-end developer to join our team. In this role, you will add new capabilities to our public site, xe.com. On Team Phoenix, you will be working on projects ranging from advanced SEO features to building new sets of pages, managing our headless CMS, and a lot more.

What you'll do:
- Lead the Process: Own the design, development, testing, and deployment of the xe.com public website and its components
- SEO Guru: Implement advanced SEO features and techniques to enhance discoverability and search engine ranking
- Conduct technical SEO audits: Provide recommendations for on-page optimizations
- Optimize Applications: for maximum speed and scalability
- Be Part of the Team: work with an agile team of skilled and motivated developers
- Embrace New Technologies: Keep up on best practices for systems architecture
- Security and Privacy Knowledge: Respect security and privacy issues
- Demonstrate your Skills: Ensure all components are highly scalable, maintainable and monitored
- Showcase your Technical Brilliance: Deliver quality code using best practices
Requirements
Who you are:
- Advanced knowledge of JavaScript
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a front-end developer with a strong focus on React.js and Next.js
- Experience with TypeScript
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end with backend services
- Ability to solve computer problems in an efficient way
- Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility and accessibility standards
- Strong communication and collaboration skills and the ability to articulate issues
- A strong understanding of the concepts associated with digital security
- A passion for learning
- Experience with AWS services
- Experience with CI/CD (preferably GitHub actions)
