Job Summary

We seek a strategic and operationally strong Senior Manager to lead Emerson's Regional Security efforts across Latin America. In this high-impact role, you will drive regional risk management, crisis readiness, internal investigations, and protective operations. You will work across geographies and business units, safeguarding our people, facilities, and brand. This position offers autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape how security is delivered in a region known for complexity and challenge.

?In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Lead and continuously improve Emerson's Regional Security Program across LATAM.
• Analyze and monitor geopolitical risks, providing intelligence briefings to regional leadership.
• Implement and oversee regional crisis management and incident response strategies.
• Support sensitive internal investigations in partnership with Legal and HR.
• Develop, manage, and assess performance of third-party security vendors.
• Deliver regular security updates and strategic advice to senior executives.
• Design and implement training in crisis management and security awareness.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an in-house corporate security function.
• 8+ years combined experience in law enforcement, military, or private security sector.
• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing regional security programs and external vendors.
• Strong working knowledge of crisis management and threat intelligence practices.
• High ethical standards, discretion, and accountability in sensitive matters.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Fluency in Portuguese is a strong plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and executive communication skills.
• Ability to travel 25% or more within LATAM.
• Professional certification such as CPP, PSP, or equivalent security credential is strongly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Master's degree in Security Management, International Affairs, or related field.
• Experience in a Fortune 500 or large multinational enterprise.
• Crisis management certification (e.g., ICS, FEMA, or equivalent).
• Active participation in ASIS International, OSAC, or other professional security networks.
• Familiarity with local political and security environments across LATAM.
