Cloud Security Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer with solid hands-on experience in cloud security, DevOps, web application protection, and AI-powered security technologies. In this role, you'll be responsible for building, improving, and maintaining cloud-based security monitoring and incident response environments across Microsoft 365, Azure, CloudFlare, and related platforms.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our detection, prevention, and response capabilities using automation, machine learning, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools.
Please note: this role requires advanced English proficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, deploy, and manage cloud security monitoring across O365, Azure, and CloudFlare.
· Integrate AI/ML-powered analytics and automation to improve threat detection and incident response.
· Secure CI/CD pipelines and enforce DevSecOps best practices.
· Implement and maintain DLP strategies across cloud services and endpoints.
· Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to identify and fix vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure and web applications.
· Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and security audits.
· Build and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for detection and reporting.
· Stay up to date on cloud security trends, AI in cybersecurity, and compliance standards (NIST, GDPR, CIS).
Requirements
· Proven experience with Microsoft Azure Security and native cloud security tools.
· Experience with CloudFlare or similar cloud-based security platforms.
· Hands-on knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and strategies.
· Familiarity with AI/ML tools applied to cybersecurity (e.g., SIEM, UEBA).
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD automation.
· Deep understanding of secure web app development and the OWASP Top 10.
· Hands-on work with SIEM platforms (especially Microsoft Sentinel).
· Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
· Knowledge of GRC tools, compliance frameworks, and security standards.
· Ability to communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
· Certifications such as Azure Security Engineer or AWS Security Specialty.
· Experience with tools like Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes.
· Knowledge of WAF, IDS/IPS, and threat intelligence platforms.
· Familiarity with compliance frameworks like NIST, GDPR, CIS.
