At Eni, we are looking for a Senior Reservoir Geologist within Eni Mexico, S.de R.L. de C.V. in Villahermosa, Mexico. You will evaluate hydrocarbon potential, assess well locations, determine well requirements and data acquisition procedures, and construct integrated geocellular models that honor all geoscience and petrophysical data to maximize the value of the asset. You will also support risk analysis and uncertainties evaluation processes to ensure informed decision-making and optimal resource management.

Main responsibilities:
- Prepare and/or supervise geological studies, which include geometry reconstruction, well correlation, integrated petrophysical characterization and modelling of facies and petrophysical parameters.
- Contribute to identifying possible actions to ensure maximum efficiency in the development plan.
- Assess the hydrocarbon potential of development, delineation and existing discovery projects.
- Apply knowledge and expertise in reservoir characterization, defining and describing hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs.
- Build geocellular 3D earth models (with various computer software products, i.e., mainly PETREL, then IRAP, etc.), incorporating geophysical attributes and petrophysical properties.
- Identify key uncertainties in subsurface data and interpretations, and prepare alternative possibilities as required.
- Make evaluations and recommendations from visits to data rooms.
- Contribute to the preparation of development documents.
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree in Geology.
- Significant experience in the oil and gas industry.
- Relevant Reservoir Geology experience.
- Well Data Acquisition & Evaluation: Geology and Drilling well program, Interpretation of surface logging hydrocarbon shows data (GWD, QFT), Pore pressure prediction/evaluation, Coring, Well Seismic acquisition, Wireline formation testing (RFT), Logs Acquisition, Quality Control and Follow-up, Well Test Design and field follow-up, PVT sampling design.
- Reservoir Characterization: Recognition of hydraulically separated pools/blocks, 3D Geometric model, Geostatistical Reservoir Characterization.
- Reservoir Modelling: Material balance (p/z, 1D Modelling) - Technical reserves evaluation.
- Data Management; Project Management; Risk Analysis & Management.
- Reserves; Organization Processes; Workflow & Best Practices.
- Geophysics: Reservoir seismic Interpretation.
- Geology: Geochemistry; Basin Geology; Structural Geology; Sedimentology; Petrophysics; Rock Mechanics.
- Drilling: Drilling Activities; Completion Activities.
- Production: Production Operations.
- Upper-intermediate level of English.
- Planning and control, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Initiative and flexibility.
