The Sales Development Coordinator in Cancun, Mexico, is part of the company's international sales team. This role contributes to the company's success by supporting the Mexico Sales Managers with showroom maintenance, showroom visits, sales order entry, and software and data integrity. The Sales Development Coordinator supports the company's vision by being dedicated and committed to efficiently responding to the sales team's efforts and the needs of our customers.
MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE:
• Responsible and accountable for maintaining the showroom to provide visitors with an excellent experience
• Schedule and coordinate showroom visits with the sales managers, including assisting the sales managers with walk-in visitors
• Facilitate online banking payments for showroom rent, utilities, and supplies, monthly or as needed
• Communicates efficiently with sales managers, including conducting weekly calls or as needed, to keep track of the current, pending, and future projects
• Possesses an organized work approach to achieve overlapping deadlines and project completion
• Understands and communicates procurement and hotel corporate programs with the international customer service team to ensure that orders are being entered and managed correctly
• Maintains and develops customer base by condensing and categorizing email lists, VIP lists, and gift lists, which includes distributing and communicating with manufacturing reps
• Processes and follows up on sample orders
• Assists in sample orders for trade shows or special events as needed
• Maintains the data integrity of our IT and software platforms
• Creates and maintains contact details in our customer relationship software platform
• Actively participates and engages in all one-on-one and group meetings
• Assists with other various projects as needed
• Promotes our company culture in all interactions with internal and external customers
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Candidate must be able to fluently read, write, and speak in English and Spanish
• Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Excel
• Candidate must be proficient in Customer Relationship Management software
• Ideal candidate will be able to occasionally travel to events and retreats within Mexico and the United States
• This position is full-time and located onsite at our Cancun office
