Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Engineer to join our team at our Monterey, Mexico location. As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and improving warehouse and material flow processes.

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Logistics Engineer to join our team at our Monterey, Mexico location. As a Logistics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our logistics operations, ensuring efficient supply chain management, and improving warehouse and material flow processes.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze existing logistics processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement logistics strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives.
- Conduct data analysis, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize material flow, inventory management, and distribution processes.
- Perform capacity planning, transportation analysis, and network optimization to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics performance and monitor progress against targets.
- Implement and manage the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology to improve inventory accuracy, reduce stockouts, and minimize lead times.
- Utilize advanced software tools and systems to track, monitor, and manage logistics operations, ensuring accurate and timely information flow.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish and maintain effective partnerships, negotiate contracts, and manage transportation services.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. (Preferred but not required at this time)
- Proven experience working in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a focus on warehouse operations, material flow, and transportation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify patterns, and propose actionable solutions.
- Proficiency in logistics software, data analysis tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of Plan for Every Part (PFEP) methodology and its implementation is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, customs procedures, and health and safety standards.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
