We're looking for a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Global People Services (GPS) Team Lead, Americas, Employee Life Cycle. This is a pivotal role, essential for ensuring excellence in HR service delivery and cultivating a high-performing team of dedicated specialists. What You'll Do
In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our HR services and team development:
- Lead & Coach Your Team: Inspire, develop, and motivate a team of HR Shared Services specialists. You'll drive high levels of engagement, service quality, and productivity, empowering your team to excel.
- Navigate Employee Relations: Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues, ensuring strict compliance with labor laws and company policies. You'll be a trusted advisor in sensitive situations.
- Champion Customer Service Excellence: Ensure your team consistently delivers accurate and timely HR support, upholding the highest standards of customer service in every interaction.
- Master HCM Systems: Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday, providing crucial support for system navigation, troubleshooting, and HR transactions.
- Drive Change Management: Lead and support critical change initiatives. You'll ensure smooth transitions and secure stakeholder buy-in through clear communication and meticulous planning.
- Foster a Positive Culture: Champion initiatives that build an inclusive and positive team culture. You'll cultivate a workplace that energizes team members and encourages accountability.
- Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with other team leaders to identify and implement continuous improvements across processes, systems, and service delivery.
- Optimize Operations: Monitor team performance against key KPIs and SLAs. You'll analyze trends and recommend actionable strategies to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Resolve Complex Issues: Serve as the primary escalation point for complex or sensitive employee inquiries, ensuring swift, empathetic, and effective resolutions.
- Invest in Development: Facilitate knowledge sharing and promote continuous learning within the team to maintain strong HR and system competencies.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a candidate with a proven track record and the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven 5 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory HR role.
- Extensive experience in employee labor relations, including handling complex ER cases.
- Strong working knowledge of Workday or a similar Human Capital Management (HCM) system.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead change and engage employees during periods of organizational transformation.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; you're outgoing and confident when engaging with all levels of an organization.
- Superior organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Hands-on experience driving employee engagement initiatives and building cohesive, motivated teams.
- A high level of integrity, professionalism, and a strong sense of accountability.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to enhance service and performance.
