We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be the voice of our company—engaging with customers, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver excellent customer service through active listening, empathy, and timely communication.
- Respond to inquiries clearly and efficiently—by phone, email, or in writing—while managing follow-ups and internal coordination.
- Serve as a strong advocate for the customer while working across internal departments to secure accurate and timely responses.
- Handle a variety of customer issues, including orders, delays, and technical concerns—always maintaining a calm and solution-oriented approach.
- Generate and support sales reports, customer presentations, and data tracking for the sales team using PowerPoint and Excel.
- Manage multiple tasks and customers simultaneously while staying organized and responsive in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments—retail experience will not be considered.
- Preferably has worked for a component manufacturer or within plastics industries such as injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, etc.
- Thick-skinned, professional demeanor; understands that feedback is not personal and can handle pressure constructively.
- Able to push internal teams for answers when needed and advocate for timely, effective solutions for customers.
- Strong understanding of the pace and demands of the U.S. marketplace—familiarity with the differences from other regions like Mexico.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of empathy and patience in customer interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to support internal reporting and sales presentations.
- Solid time management and multi-tasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in customer service for U.S. and Canadian clients.
- Background in purchasing or supply chain roles, with experience juggling multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or ERP platforms.
- Experience supporting a technical or industrial sales team.
