We are seeking a Data Analyst with an Accounting background to join our dynamic team in the financial sector. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in accounting within banking institutions and advanced analytical capabilities using tools like Power BI and SQL. This role requires the ability to interpret financial regulations and apply them through data and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret financial and regulatory accounting data (CNBV, Banxico, NIF, IFRS, USGAAP, IASB).
• Support the implementation of accounting standards and regulatory changes from a functional perspective.
• Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to support decision-making and ensure compliance.
• Work closely with accounting and finance teams to automate reporting processes using SQL and ERP data.
• Administer and analyze large databases to generate actionable financial insights.
• Understand and report on banking products such as credit, investments, derivatives, and funding instruments.

MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting roles within financial institutions (preferably banks).
• Strong knowledge of bank accounting standards and regulatory reporting.
• Advanced knowledge in at least two of the following tools: Power BI, Tableau, Python, SAS, Knime.
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis, and database administration.
• Advanced use of Excel and experience handling data from ERP systems.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational-accounting solutions.
• Team player with excellent analytical and communication skills.
