Mission:
Transform and standardize the accounts payable operations at the MEX site by implementing efficient and accurate processes that support a timely and error-free month-end and year-end close. Deliver measurable improvements in payment accuracy and processing time. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance MEX's year-end payment workflows, with a special focus on tax-related compliance and reporting.

Outcomes:

• Ensuring 100% of vendor, payroll, and month-end payments are processed on time and activities are reflected in ERP within 24 hours of transaction.
• Streamline accounts payable processes at the MEX site within the first year to reduce processing bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency, resulting in a 20% reduction in invoice processing time.
• Close year-end accounts payable in MEX having 0 re-invoicing.
• Complete month-end GRNI report, by Day 3 of month-end cycle, with all line items explained and 0 rollover items from the previous month.

• Attention to Detail: Consistently reviews and processes financial documents with accuracy, ensuring that invoices, payments, and tax documentation are correct and compliant with regulations.
• English professional proficiency: Able to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal, for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
• Accounting technical proficiency: Demonstrates proficiency in accounts payable systems, ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel) to manage and report AP data effectively.
• Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Demonstrates strong knowledge of local financial regulations (e.g., MEX tax laws, Entrada agreements) and adheres to company policies to minimize audit risks and penalties.
• Process Optimization:Identifies inefficiencies in accounts payable workflows and proactively suggests and implements improvements to streamline processes.
